Shade Trees
A ‘shade tree’ is a fast growing, tall, woody perennial plant with a spreading canopy. They are often planted or valued chiefly for its shade from sunlight, which moderating temperatures, protects from winds, and cleans the air.
Ornamental Trees
Ornamental trees add year-round structure and beauty, brightening up any landscape with vivid colors in Fall and Spring, and often fragrant flowers. The term ‘ornamental’ refers to trees used for their flowers, texture, form or other aesthetic characteristics in a garden or landscape
Evergreen Trees
Evergreens provide wonderful color with year round interest in the landscape, as well as wind protection, privacy, and as structural specimens. An ‘evergreen tree’ is a large woody perennial plant that has needles (conifers) or leaves (broadleaves) in all four seasons. This contrasts with deciduous plants, which completely lose their foliage during the winter.
